Face Mask Policy

APACHE believes in honoring and respecting the freedom and responsibility of each speaker, vendor, and attendee. This means we hold to the position that each person can make their own decision on what is safest and best for their family. We will have hand sanitizing stations available throughout the venue and have made efforts to social distance when available and appropriate. Mask usage is optional and will not be enforced by APACHE volunteers. However, some vendors may request you to wear a mask while in their booth. If you would like to shop with that particular vendor, you may want to bring a mask to be prepared.

APACHE is run entirely by team of volunteers, and we’d love to have you join us! Help make sure our convention continues to be a great resource for homeschooling families in Illinois. There are opportunities to serve before, during and after convention. Would you consider giving 1-2 hours of your time to help us? Please check “I am willing to volunteer” on your registration form. Thank you!

Refund Policy

In the event you cannot attend the convention after registering, you may:

  1. Transfer or gift your registration to another couple
  2. Submit a written request for refund to APACHE at info@apachecentralillinois.org

Requests received by 3/1/21 will receive a full refund (excluding meals and MP3 orders). Requests received after 3/1/21 will receive a 50% refund.

Working Scholarships

APACHE offers a limited number of working scholarships, which may be earned by adults working 6 hours before, during or after convention. Child registration fees may be earned by working an additional 2 hours. Please indicate on your registration form “I want a working scholarship” and pay your full registration fee. After your 6 hours are completed, you will receive a full refund of your base registration (excluding meals, special classes and MP3 orders). These scholarships are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.

APACHE will make 2 attempts to reach you with your assignment. If we cannot reach you, we will contact the next person on our list.

Convention Name Badge

Each attendee will receive a name badge, which is your convention pass and required for admission. Please pick up badges at the registration table and wear them at all times during convention.

Convention Meals

This year, we are bringing in food trucks from Mike's Knot Just RibsEngine One Concessions, Faire Coffee and The Spot Coffee. Boxed lunches are available both days, but must be ordered and paid for with early registration. All meals cost $8 each and come with a drink. If you don't preorder a boxed lunch, you can still purchase food on-site, bring your own food, or Morton, IL is close by.

Snacks will be for sale by CIBAD Speech & Debate Club both days of convention.

Special Friday Family Supper

Join us Friday evening for a wonderful time of food, fellowship and fun! No childcare is provided.

Kids of all ages are welcome to attend convention with you. For your child’s safety, enjoyment of all attendees and vendors, and respect for the Cornerstone Baptist facilities, all children under 12 years old must be supervised by an adult at all times. We request parents with infants and toddlers sit near the exits of rooms. Children who make distracting noises — even happy ones — must be removed immediately, as sessions are being recorded. A private room for mothers and infants will be available where you can nurse and care for your baby.

Most of the workshops will be recorded and available for purchase as follows:
