March 2012 - Please join Illinois home educators in Springfield to meet your State Legislators and urge them to support home schooling freedoms.  Annually, Illinois Christian Home Educators (ICHE) schedules a time for Illinois home educators to join together to have a voice and presence at the State Capitol in Springfield.  All home educators are welcome!

All pies should be registered between 9:30 and 11:30 in the Hall of Flags in the Howlett Building on the corner of Edwards and 2nd next to the Capitol Building.  A Welcome Event will be at 1:00 in the Howlett Auditorium following the group patriotic singing in the Capitol Rotunda at 12:00. New this year, there will be a Homeschool Exhibit area in the Capitol South Hall from 9:00-4:00.  For more information, please visit ICHE's Legislative Days Tab.  You are cordially invited to visit the snack and hospitality room  from 4:30-9:30 at the Route 66 Hotel and Conference Center.  Tours and events are scheduled through Friday.  A schedule is available on ICHE's website.
